On March 29, Sun Haisheng, Party‑group Secretary and Director of Shandong Department of Science and Technology, and his entourage conducted an inspection and research visit to Qingdao Zhongke Guosheng Power Technology Co., Ltd. Liu Changsong, Member of the Standing Committee of Qingdao Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Working Committee and District Party Secretary of West Coast New Area, and Du Min, Member of the Party‑group and Deputy Director of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology accompanied the inspection. The research group inspected the company’s gas‑turbine assembly and repair production line as well as the complete‑unit test‑run platform on‑site. They learned in detail about the R&D, manufacturing, test verification, market application and industrialization progress of the TG30 series 30 MW‑class light‑duty gas turbine.
General Manager Wang Sichen reported on the company’s development history, technological breakthroughs, market layout and future plans. He highlighted the R&D layout for efficient utilization of low‑calorific‑value coal gas and high‑hydrogen purge gas, as well as the planning ideas for supporting Shandong’s energy transition and the green development of coal‑chemical industry.
Director Sun Haisheng fully recognized the achievement transformation of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shandong. He spoke highly of the key breakthroughs and industrialization results achieved by Zhongke Guosheng in the field of light‑duty gas turbines. He pointed out that the enterprise has demonstrated the innovation strength of high‑end equipment in Shandong and made important contributions to the independent controllability of energy equipment. He hoped that the enterprise would keep focusing on tackling core technologies, enrich product portfolios, expand application scenarios, accelerate achievement transformation and large‑scale development, and play a greater role in the green and low‑carbon energy transition. The Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province will, as always, fully support the enterprise’s scientific‑technological innovation and industrial upgrading.
Secretary Liu Changsong stated that since Zhongke Guosheng settled in West Coast New Area, it has achieved remarkable results in the independent R&D and industrialization of high‑end gas turbines, injecting strong new‑quality productive forces into the high‑end equipment manufacturing industry of the New Area. He expected the enterprise to continue its role as a technology leader and industry pacesetter, deepen independent innovation, speed up industrial layout, expand application markets, and drive coordinated development and overall upgrading of the whole industrial chain.
